For Northfield, this counts as revenge for the 56-49 loss Lakeland Christian Academy walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January of 2023.
Leading Northfield to victory were Elli Baker and Hannah Holmes. Baker scored 12 points, while Holmes dropped a double-double on 19 points and 12 rebounds. The contest was Holmes' third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Callie Hoffman, who scored five points along with seven rebounds.
Northfield's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-10. As for Lakeland Christian Academy, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-11 record this season.
