Guajome Park Academy has enjoyed a two-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will challenge Army-Navy at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
Guajome Park Academy didn't get the result they wanted in their first match with Maranatha Christian on Thursday. They will be looking for a result a little better than the 2-0 loss they were dealt on Thursday when they meet later in the season. Having soared to a lofty five goals in the game before, they couldn't push the score so high this time.
Meanwhile, Army-Navy beat St. Joseph Academy 3-1 on Thursday. The win was just what Army-Navy needed coming off of a 5-0 loss in their prior contest.
Guajome Park Academy bumped their record down to 10-2-2 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 5.0 goals per game. As for Army-Navy, their victory bumped their record up to 3-4-2.
Guajome Park Academy beat Army-Navy by a goal in their previous meeting back in February of 2023, winning 2-1. Will Guajome Park Academy repeat their success, or does Army-Navy have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
