D'Evelyn typically has all the answers at home, but  on Wednesday Golden proved too difficult a challenge. They breezed by the D'Evelyn Jaguars to the tune of  61-31. The Demons have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12  matchups by 22  points or more this season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Golden to victory, but perhaps none more so than   Brooklynn Carbone, who  went 7 of 9  en route to 18 points and seven  rebounds. The dominant performance gave  Carbone a new career-high in  points.  Freya Wellman was another key player,  putting up 12 points and three  steals.
 Golden was working as a unit and  finished the game with 13  assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as D'Evelyn only posted seven  assists.
 Several Jaguars players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was   Ellie McMann, who  posted 12  points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Colleen Monahan, who  earned four points and five  boards.
Golden's victory was  their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 18-2. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 26.6 points per game. As for D'Evelyn,  the  defeat snapped their winning streak at 17 games  and leaves them with a 17-1 record.
 Golden will head out to  face off against Wheat Ridge  at 5:30  p.m.  on Friday. Golden is facing Wheat Ridge at the right time seeing as Wheat Ridge is stuck on  an  18-game losing streak. As for D'Evelyn, they will welcome Green Mountain  at 6:00  p.m.  on Friday. Green Mountain will roll in looking for their  18th straight  win, something D'Evelyn surely won't give up without a fight.
