After having lost a blowout in their previous game, Albuquerque HomeSchool was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They blew past Varsity Opponent, posting a 63-35 victory. The Saints have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matches by 20 points or more this season.
Albuquerque HomeSchool had a senior duo take command as Matt Holets went 8 for 11 on his way to 17 points and six boards and Josh Radigan dropped a double-double on 16 points and 11 rebounds. Radigan's evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Carsten Colberg, who posted seven points.
Albuquerque HomeSchool's win was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 12-4.
Albuquerque HomeSchool will head out to face off against Chesterton Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Albuquerque HomeSchool knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four contests -- so hopefully Chesterton Academy likes a good challenge.
