For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when State College and Mifflin County meet (three straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Saturday. The Little Lions narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Huskies 1-0. That's more bragging rights for State College, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The win snapped State College's losing streak at four matches and leaves them with a 2-7 record. As for Mifflin County, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 4-6.

State College has already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Cedar Cliff on the 22nd. As for Mifflin County, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Shippensburg on the 23rd.
