The James Logan Colts will challenge the Amador Valley Dons at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. James Logan is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.2 runs per game this season.
James Logan's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 14-0 margin over Kennedy. The win was familiar territory for the Colts, who have now won three contests in a row.

James Logan got a great performance from Corynn Gracey as she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out six over five innings pitched. Gracey has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Ava Medellin was incredible, firing off two home runs, three runs, and three RBI while going 3-for-3. That's the most home runs she has posted over her last nine matchups. Janessa Parras was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one home run and three RBI.
James Logan always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .618. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Kennedy only posted an OBP of .263.
Meanwhile, Amador Valley came up short against Monte Vista on Tuesday and fell 7-4.
McKenna Charbonneau made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with one home run and three RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Riya Sharda, who went 2-for-4 with one run and one RBI.
James Logan's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-2-1. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.3 runs on average over those games. As for Amador Valley, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-10 record this season.
Fans could be in store for some top-tier slugging on Wednesday. James Logan hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season, having averaged 0.8 home runs per game. However, it's not like Amador Valley struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 0.9 home runs. With so much power on both teams, it'll be down to the pitchers to keep the mound locked down.
James Logan came up short against Amador Valley in their previous meeting back in May of 2024, falling 5-2. Will the Colts have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check MaxPreps after the action for a full breakdown of the game and more softball content.
