Basketball Game Preview: Bradford Prep Bears vs. Piedmont Community Charter Patriots

Bradford Prep is 2-8 against Piedmont Community Charter since November of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Bradford Prep Bears will be playing in front of their home fans against the Piedmont Community Charter Patriots at 6:00 p.m. Bradford Prep will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

Bradford Prep will bounce into Thursday's match after beating Pine Lake Prep, who they had gone 1-8 against in their nine prior meetings. Bradford Prep snuck past Pine Lake Prep with a 35-31 win on Tuesday.

Raquel Feliciano and Anani Delgado were among the main playmakers for Bradford Prep as the former posted 11 points and the latter earned ten points. That's the most points Feliciano has posted since back in December of 2023. The team also got some help courtesy of Bailey Clark, who had five points.

Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 63-12, which was the final score in Piedmont Community Charter's tilt against Bessemer City on Friday. The contest marked the Patriots' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Bradford Prep's victory bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Piedmont Community Charter, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-3 record this season.

Bradford Prep came up short against Piedmont Community Charter in their previous matchup back in November, falling 29-25. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Piedmont Community Charter's Allasha Houser, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 19 boards.
