Berwick has gone a perfect 6-0 against Pittston recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Bulldogs will look to defend their home court against the Patriots at 5:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Berwick has 12 straight wins, Pittston has five straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

If Hanover Area wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Berwick, they should've done a better job of containing Julia Rauch. The Bulldogs were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Hawkeyes on Tuesday thanks in part to Rauch, who had five aces and three digs. She has been hot for a while, having also posted 17 or more assists the last 21 times she's played.
The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Berwick was: they took every set by at least 20 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-5, 25-3, 25-5.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Berwick to victory, but perhaps none more so than Makayla Brown, who had eight aces and one assist. That's the most aces Brown has posted since back in November of 2024. Zoey Force was another key player, getting six aces and five digs.
They weren't the only good servers: Berwick was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 26 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least nine aces in nine consecutive matchups.
Meanwhile, Pittston lost 3-0 to Holy Redeemer on Tuesday.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-15, 25-8.
Berwick's victory bumped their record up to 14-1. As for Pittston, their loss dropped their record down to 2-6.
Everything went Berwick's way against Pittston when the teams last played back in October of 2024, as Berwick made off with a 3-0 win. Will the Bulldogs repeat their success, or do the Patriots have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
