Claysburg-Kimmel put another one in the bag  on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. Everything went their way against the Berlin Brothersvalley Mountaineers as they made off with  an  8-1 victory. The Bulldogs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 13 matches by seven  runs or more this season.
 Launa Musselman made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she  pitched seven innings while giving up just one earned run off   five  hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in nine consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box,  going 1-for-4 with two  RBI, one  run,  and one  double.
 In other batting news,  Bella Francona and  McKenna Black did most of the damage at the plate:  Francona  got on base  in two of her four plate appearances with two  stolen bases and three  runs, while  Black  got on base  in two of her four plate appearances with two  runs and one  RBI. That's the most  runs  Francona has posted since back in April.
Claysburg-Kimmel's win was  their 11th straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 19-0. Those  road  victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.1 runs on average over those games.
