They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past Reagan 53-50. Given True North Classical Academy's advantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 78th, while Reagan is ranked 299th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead True North Classical Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Boosie Swan, who scored 12 points along with five rebounds. Cj Gonzalez was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
True North Classical Academy has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season. As for Reagan, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-6.
