The Kentridge Chargers will square off against the Auburn Riverside Ravens at 4:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Kentridge is coming into the  match hot, having won their last six games.
Kentridge had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the seven-run drubbing they dealt Auburn on Thursday. The Chargers were the clear victors by  a  9-2 margin over the Trojans.
 Jackson Loganbill and  Beckham Gerber dominated on the mound. Loganbill  struck out seven batters over  four innings while giving up just two earned runs off   four  hits, while  Gerber  tossed three innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit. Gerber has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in four consecutive appearances.

 On the hitting side, Kentridge's win was truly a team effort as six different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was  Emanuel Harris, who  went 1-for-3 with two  runs, one  triple,  and one  stolen base. Those  two  runs gave  Harris a new career-high.  Brendyn Malapitan was another,  going 1-for-2 with one  stolen base, one  run,  and one  RBI.
 Kentridge  hit smart and  finished the game with only one  strikeout. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Auburn struck out ten times.
Fife hit Auburn Riverside with a five-run second inning  on Friday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Ravens took  an  8-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Trojans.
 Auburn Riverside also got a good showing from  Landon Downey, who   pitched four innings while giving up just two earned runs off   four  hits.
 Kentridge pushed their record up to 11-3-1 with the  victory, which was their sixth straight  at home. Those  home  wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Auburn Riverside, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-7 record  this season.
