Dardanelle dodged a bullet last Friday, finishing off Charleston 28-27.
Meanwhile, Prairie Grove couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They fell just short of Farmington by a score of 30-33. Prairie Grove were down by 12-33 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
Dardanelle's win lifted them to 2-0 while Prairie Grove's defeat dropped them down to 0-1. We'll see if Dardanelle's success rolls on or if Prairie Grove are able to steal their positive momentum.
