Even though the Boardman Spartans have not done well against the Louisville Leopards recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. Boardman walked away with a 55-45 win over Louisville. The win made it back-to-back wins for Boardman.
Boardman's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Mackenzie Riccitelli, who scored 25 points along with 7 rebounds. Samantha Duble was another key contributor, scoring 15 points.
Boardman's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Louisville, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-1.
