There's no place like home for Hughes, who bounced back after a loss on the road back in December of 2024. Everything went their way against the Adamsville Cardinals on Monday as the Hughes Lions made off with a 51-31 win. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Lions have posted since November 19, 2024.

Hughes' win bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Adamsville, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-10 record this season.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Riverside the next time they take the court. Hughes will host Riverside at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while Adamsville will host them at 7:30 p.m. on January 14th.
