Hayden's game on Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They strolled past the West Grand Mustangs with points to spare, taking the game 43-25. The Tigers' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Hayden can attribute much of their success to Jace Bene, who posted 11 points and five rebounds. Bene has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last three times he's played.

Hayden moved to 1-3 with that win, which also ended their five-game losing streak. As for West Grand, they are on an 11-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Hayden didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 41-39 defeat against North Park on the 14th. West Grand has also already played their next game, a 53-40 loss against Dolores on the 14th.
