The Tri County Northeast Wolfpack are taking a road trip to  face off against the Shelton Bulldogs  at 1:30  p.m.  on Saturday. Both come into the  contest bolstered by wins in their previous  matches.
Tri County Northeast is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup  on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with  a  3-2  win over Cedar Catholic. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for the Wolfpack.
 Tri County Northeast wouldn't go down easily and took Cedar Catholic into a fifth set  where they got it done with a six-point win. The final score came out to 19-25, 25-22, 25-23, 21-25,  15-9.

 Tri County Northeast relied on the efforts of   Emily Mitchell, who  had 11  digs and one assist, and   Joslyn Mackling, who  had 20  digs and 18  kills. Mackling is  crushing it when it comes to  kills: she's   had at least six every time she's  taken the court this season.
Meanwhile, Shelton made easy work of Kenesaw  on Tuesday and carried off  a  3-0 victory. The  win continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their matchups with the Blue Devils: they've now won four in a row.
 Shelton walked away with the   victory (and looked especially good in the second set). The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-14,  25-19.
 Tri County Northeast better keep an eye on  Gracie Willis. She was instrumental in Shelton's win,  getting 12  digs and two  aces. That's the most  aces  Willis has posted since back in September.
 Tri County Northeast's record is now 24-5. As for Shelton, their record now sits at 25-5.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of  Saturday's  match:  Tri County Northeast has really dialed in their serving  this season,  having  averaged 8.1  aces per game. However, it's not like Shelton struggles in that department as   they've been averaging 6.8  aces. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
