Jesse James Gonzalez Crosses Big Stat Threshold
Jesse James Gonzalez's big game helped extend Robertson's winning streak to seven on Thursday. Gonzalez showed up in a big way, rushing for 189 yards and three touchdowns on only eight carries, while also throwing for 93 yards and two touchdowns. He's now once again averaging 100+ rushing yards (112) per game. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 75-yard run.
Pojoaque Valley's probably not too fond of Gonzalez given he always seems to get the better of them. Gonzalez rushed for 141 yards and a touchdown on only ten carries, and also threw for 234 yards and a touchdown while completing 71.4% of his passes the last time he and the Elks/Elkettes duked it out back in September of 2023.

Hope Christian was sadly handed a loss on Saturday, but Krew Ward did his best to prevent it. Ward turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for nine yards.
Hope Christian now has a losing record at 3-4. Ward and Hope Christian will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Robertson at 11:00 a.m. on October 19th.

Robertson Wins Seventh-Straight Thanks to Paul Duran
Paul Duran's big game helped extend Robertson's winning streak to seven on Thursday. Duran turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 32 yards and a touchdown.
For the year, Duran has run in 8 touchdowns while averaging 24.3 rushing yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he had two rushing touchdowns.

Breylon Willams Makes It Two for Hope Christian
