Rowan County gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They crushed Morgan County 47-12. That result is just more of the same for Rowan County, who also won the last time these teams played.
Rowan County's offense came in ready to rumble, picking up 27 points in the first half. Morgan County couldn't get anything going offensively, leaving the score at 27-0 heading into the break. The offense continued to do well in the second half, scoring another 20 points. This was the first game for both teams, giving Rowan County a 1-0 record and starting Morgan County off at 0-1.
