Lance Jones was his usual excellent self, scoring 28 points along with six rebounds and four steals. He has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times he's played. Walker Bunnell was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with 15 rebounds.
When it comes to explaining why Turkeyfoot Valley Area lost, one person who can't be blamed is Bryce Nicholson. Despite the final result, he scored 26 points along with seven rebounds and four steals. Nicholson is absolutely dominating the steal category: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season. Salisbury Elk Lick has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season. As for Turkeyfoot Valley Area, their defeat ended an 11-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 8-4.
