Legacy is a perfect 10-0 against Bell since May of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Tigers will take on the Eagles at 2:15 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Legacy has eight straight victories, Bell has four straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
If Legacy beats Bell with 13 runs on Monday, it's going to be the team's new lucky number: they've won their past two matchups with that exact score. The Tigers didn't even let Huntington Park on the board on Thursday, marking the Tigers' second-straight 13-0 shutout. Considering the Tigers have won nine games by more than six runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.
Dail Dorado made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit while striking out seven over five innings pitched. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with one RBI.

In other batting news, Alissa Andon and Stephanie Salas did most of the damage at the plate: Andon went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one double, while Salas went 1-for-2 with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. Those two stolen bases gave Andon a new career-high. Leslie Sanchez was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double.
Meanwhile, Thursday just wasn't the day for Bell's offense. They lost 19-0 to Garfield on Thursday.
Legacy's record now sits at 14-8. As for Bell, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-10.
Monday's contest might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Legacy has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .440. However, it's not like Bell struggles in that department as they've averaged .458. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Legacy got the 'W' in their previous matchup back in May of 2025 against Bell by a conclusive 19-1 score. Do the Tigers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Eagles turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
