Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a  season-high score is even better (just ask Boulder). They blew past Westtown 12-2 on Wednesday. The Panthers not only won  on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win  since April 23, 2024.
 Sam Skubic made a big impact no matter where he played. He  tossed two innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   two  hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't  given up  more than one  earned run in three consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate,  scoring a  run while going 2-for-3.
 In other pitching news,  Bennett Levinson looked comfortable as he  pitched three innings while giving up just one earned run off   two  hits. He has been consistent  recently: he hasn't  given up  more than two  hits in four consecutive appearances.
 Back at the plate,  Finn Torvik was  excellent,  going 1-for-2 with one  triple, two  RBI,  and one  run. That  hit marked the first that  he  got this season. Another player making a difference was  Gavin Nguyen, who  scored two  runs while going 1-for-2.
Boulder's first  win this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Westtown, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.
 Looking ahead, Boulder will face off against John Carroll Catholic at 4:00  p.m.  on Thursday. John Carroll Catholic's pitching crew has only allowed 3.7  runs per game  this season, so Boulder's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Westtown, they are headed away from home for the first time to  square off against  Delaware County Christian  at 12:00  p.m.  on April 5.
