A Season-Best Effort from Nicolas Horowitz Leads New Paltz over Liberty
On Friday, New Paltz got the W thanks in part to Nicolas Horowitz playing the best football he has all season. Horowitz rushed for 166 yards and three touchdowns on only 15 carries.
New Paltz moved to 2-4 with that victory, which also ended their four-game losing streak. Horowitz and New Paltz are on the road again on Saturday to play Highland at 1:00 p.m.

While Sal Jr Montaperto delivered a dominant effort on Thursday, a win just wasn't in the cards for Marlboro Central. Montaperto was unstoppable, rushing for 134 yards and a touchdown while picking up 7.1 yards per carry. He also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, picking up 2.5 sacks and making nine total tackles.
