Sylacauga took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 44-22 margin over the Central of Coosa County Cougars. The Aggies not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since August 23, 2024 (when they won 69-28).

Zakorien Chambliss went supernova, rushing for 201 yards and four scores on only 11 carries. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 99-yard run.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sylacauga will square off against Montevallo at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Central of Coosa County, they will head out to square off against Randolph County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
