The Atholton Raiders posted their biggest victory yet this season on Friday. Everything went their way against Mt. Hebron as Atholton made off with a 71-47 win. The win was familiar territory for Atholton who now have three in a row.
Atholton's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Amir Shaheed, who scored 17 points along with seven assists and three steals. Shaheed hasn't dropped below 15points for four straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Bryce Inabinet, who scored nine points along with five rebounds and three steals.
Atholton is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a massive bump to their 8-5 record this season. As for Mt. Hebron, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-5.
Atholton will be playing at home against Centennial at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Centennial has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 310 points over their last five matches. As for Mt. Hebron, they will head out on the road to take on Oakland Mills at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Oakland Mills is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.
