Monett won the last time they faced Mt. Vernon and things went their way on Saturday too. The Monett Cubs walked away with a 62-49 win over the Mt. Vernon Mountaineers. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Cubs.

Monett's victory bumped their record up to 7-8. As for Mt. Vernon, their loss dropped their record down to 6-8.
