Northwest Kansas recap November 5, 2013
Wichita County fell to Decatur Community 62-14 last week, the largest margin of any game. Jantz Budde was a bright spot for the Indians, as he ran for 97 yards in the loss.
Dayton Dreher and Chris Anderson gave the Red Devils a balanced attack in passing and rushing last week. Dreher threw for 36 yards and 1 touchdown, while Anderson ran for 132 yards. Dreher also contributed to the rushing game with 134 yards on the ground.
Leading Northwest Kansas in both passing and receiving yards, Wichita County's Budde and Casey Day have proven to be a lethal combination. Budde has thrown for 577 yards this season, while Day has 20 catches for 277 yards. Decatur Community's Dreher leads the league in rushing yards with 880.
Joe Dreher's team led the league in scoring this week after putting up 62 points on Faron Kraft's team. Dreher ran for 134 yards during the win.
