After a string of three wins, Harlandale's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 69-68 to the Devine Warhorses / Arabians. While losing is never fun, the Indians can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 700th, while the Warhorses / Arabians are ranked 226th).

Harlandale's defeat dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Devine, they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Harlandale will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Winn at 1:30 p.m. on the 23rd. As for Devine, they will be home for the holidays to greet Davenport at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Warhorses / Arabians will be up against the Wolves' rather soft defense (which has allowed 52.92 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
