On Friday, Jenkintown made easy work of Liguori Academy and carried off a 68-42 win.
It was another big night for Tommy Walsh, who scored 28 points along with seven rebounds and six assists. He hasn't dropped below two steals for four straight games. James Callas was another key contributor, scoring ten points.
Liguori Academy's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jahseer Ferrell, who scored ten points. Another player making a difference was Rydee Miller, who scored nine points.
Jenkintown's victory bumped their record up to 13-9. As for Liguori Academy, their loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 5-13.
Jenkintown will take on Calvary Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Hopefully Jenkintown focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 24 on Friday. As for Liguori Academy, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on The City School at 5:00 p.m. on February 22nd.
