After flying high against the Stroud Tigers last Friday, the Chandler Lions came back down to earth. Chandler took a 54-43 hit to the loss column at the hands of Holdenville on Saturday. Chandler has not had much luck with Holdenville recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Holdenville's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Dah?myah Olden, who scored 19 points. Olden hasn't dropped below 15points for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Belle Mcfarland, who scored 13 points.
Chandler has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-7 record this season. As for Holdenville, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which somehow isn't as good as their 13-4 record this season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Chandler will take on Meeker at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meeker is coming into the contest on a four-game losing streak. Holdenville will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against Bethel at 6:00 p.m. on January 23rd.
