Meanwhile, while Sullivan put up plenty of runs on Saturday, the same can't be said for Brownstown Central. The Golden Arrows were the clear victors by a 16-0 margin over the Braves. Sullivan's win was all the more impressive since the Braves were averaging only 2.53 runs allowed on the season.
Ty Hamilton made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Hamilton was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with three RBI, one run, and one double. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in April.
In other batting news, Sullivan got a massive performance out of Karsen Norris, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, five RBI, and two runs. That home run was Norris' first of the season. Another player making a difference was Hunter Mason, who went 3-for-4 with three runs, one triple, and one RBI.
Heritage Christian's record is now 17-9-1. As for Sullivan, their record now sits at 23-3.
Fans could be in store for some top-tier slugging on Saturday. Heritage Christian hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season, having averaged 0.5 home runs per game. However, it's not like Sullivan struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 0.7 home runs. With so much power on both teams, it'll be down to the pitchers to keep the mound locked down. Check MaxPreps after the action for a full breakdown of the game and more baseball content.
