Brinkley had to travel to play their first game of the season, and the final result was worth the trip. They captured a comfortable 26-8 win over Corning. This was the first game for both teams, giving Brinkley a 1-0 record and starting Corning off at 0-1.
Next week, Brinkley take on Rison at 7:00 PM. Corning are packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against Rector next week at 7:00 PM.
