Unioto is 9-1 against Southeastern since April of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Shermans will host the Panthers at 5:15 p.m. Unioto is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.8 runs per game this season.
Unioto proved they can win big on Friday (they won by ten) and on Monday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out Piketon 6-5.
Unioto got a great performance from Kendal Walker as she tossed five innings while giving up just two earned (and three unearned) runs off nine hits.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Mackenzie Welch, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. Those four hits gave her a new career-high. Maddie Tuttle was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double.
Unioto kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. They are 8-2 when they post 11 or more hits.
Meanwhile, after a string of four wins, Southeastern's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They fell just short of Piketon by a score of 5-4.
Southeastern saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ally Fisher, who went 1-for-4 with two runs and one stolen base. Fisher is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games she's played.
Unioto is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-8 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.9 runs over those games. As for Southeastern, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-11.
Southeastern's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Unioto hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .345. It's a different story for Southeastern, though, as they've only averaged .253. Will they be able to contain Unioto's hitters?
