It's playoff time, and Pittsfield had no trouble coming through when it counted. They took down the Wilmington Wildcats 54-35  on Thursday. Winning may never get old, but the Generals sure are getting used to it with their 11th in a row.
 Pittsfield's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Harolyn Castillo, who  almost  dropped  a double-double with 14  points and nine  boards. Castillo is also on a roll when it comes to  steals, as she's  now  grabbed two or more in each of the last eight games she's  played.  Caprese Conyers was another key player,  going 7-for-10  en route to 14 points and four  steals.
Pittsfield's victory was  their 11th straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 21-1. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 65.4 points over those games. As for Wilmington,  they are  on  a  seven-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 2-10-1.
