The Adair County Indians will face off against the Green County Dragons at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
On Wednesday, Adair County beat Cumberland County 10-6.

Brayton Coomer made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing 1.1 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. What's more, he posted three strikeouts, the most he's had over his last five contests. He was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with one home run, one stolen base, and two RBI.
In other batting news, Jasper Kemp was excellent, going 1-for-4 with one home run and two RBI. Bryce Russell was another key player, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one stolen base and one run.
Meanwhile, Green County had just enough and edged out Glasgow 3-2 on Tuesday.
Houston Hodges spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned runs on three hits.
On the hitting side, Green County saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cash Jones, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with one run and one double.
Green County was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .385. They are a perfect 8-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Adair County has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 14 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-9 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.1 runs over those games. As for Green County, their win bumped their record up to 15-10.
Everything went Adair County's way against Green County in their previous meeting back in April, as Adair County made off with a 14-1 victory. Do the Indians have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Dragons turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
