The Northeast Vikings's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They were outmatched by Lincoln College Prep on the road and fell 68-28. Northeast was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 42-20.
Lincoln College Prep's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Aidan Napier, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 11 rebounds. Those 11 rebounds set a new season-high mark for him. Darrien Brown was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with seven assists and six rebounds.
Northeast's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Lincoln College Prep, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.
Northeast is on the road again on Wednesday and play against DSST: Cedar at 5:45 p.m. on December 20th. Lincoln College Prep will be home for the holidays to greet Schlagle at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
