The Enterprise Wolves had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. Everything went their way against Millard on Thursday as Enterprise made off with a 59-39 victory. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Enterprise has posted yet this season.
Enterprise was led to victory by Jaycee Barlow and Eliza Balajadia. Barlow dropped a double-double on 14 points and 15 rebounds, while Balajadia scored 14 points along with seven assists and two steals. Balajadia continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Kylah Humphries, who scored six points along with three steals.
Despite the defeat, Millard saw an underclassman step up: Emily Stephenson scored 15 points along with eight rebounds and two steals. That's the first time this season that Stephenson scored 15 or more points. Eliza Larsen was another key contributor, scoring six points.
Enterprise's victory bumped their record up to 7-9. As for Millard, their loss dropped their record down to 5-10.
Enterprise will head out on the road to face off against Beaver at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Beaver will be looking to keep their six-game home win streak alive. Millard will take on Kanab at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Kanab presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Millard in Utah (Kanab is ranked 12th, while Millard is ranked 93rd).
