After both having extra time off, Maggie Walker and the J.R. Tucker Tigers will shake off the cobwebs and hit the field against one another  at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. J.R. Tucker took a loss in their last  game and will be looking to turn the tables on Maggie Walker, who comes in off a win.
Maggie Walker will roll into the  contest after a wild two-game stretch: they didn't score any  runs  last Tuesday, then bounced right back against Hermitage  last Wednesday. Maggie Walker put the hurt on Hermitage with a sharp  18-9 win. The game was the first time Maggie Walker has beaten Hermitage on their field since March 19, 2019.

 Maggie Walker let  Anu Ramesh and  Hadley Walder run wild. Ramesh  went 3-for-4 with one  home run, four  runs,  and three  RBI, while  Walder  scored three  runs and  stole six bases while going 4-for-5. Those  four  hits gave  Walder a new career-high. Another player making a difference was  Jalise Melson, who  scored two  runs and  stole two bases while going 2-for-5.
Meanwhile, J.R. Tucker was not able to break out of their rough patch  last Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight  defeat. They lost  12-2 to Clover Hill.
 J.R. Tucker saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Emily Bryant, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 1-for-2.  Victoria Smith also deserves some recognition as  she  scored her first  run of the season.
 J.R. Tucker's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Maggie Walker, they now  have a winning record of 2-1.
