Even though Laguardia scored an imposing 69 points on Thursday, the Hunter College Hawks still came out on top. Everything went Hunter College's way against Laguardia as Hunter College made off with a 93-69 win. With that victory, Hunter College brought their scoring average up to 55.2 points per game.
It was another big night for Noah Kay, who dropped a double-double on 36 points and 10 rebounds. Kay is absolutely dominating the rebound category: he's posted at least eight every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Eli Gitter-Denz, who scored 11 points along with 5 rebounds and 3 steals.
The win got Hunter College back to even at 2-2. As for Laguardia, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
Hunter College will head out on the road to face off against Eastchester at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Laguardia, they will look to defend their home court on December 8th against Art & Design at 5:00 p.m.
