Beau Sawyer turned in yet another pitching appearance with fewer than three hits surrendered on Monday. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out seven over 4.1 innings pitched, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Western Boone is 2-1 when he allows at most one earned run, but 2-4 otherwise.

Coming up, Sawyer and Western Boone will venture away from home to take on Lebanon at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
