The Philip Scotties can now show off four landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Tuesday. They breezed by New Underwood on the road to the tune of 48-14. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Philip.
Philip got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Drew Terkildsen out in front who scored seven points along with eight steals and five assists. Terkildsen is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Mattisen Reckling was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with five steals.
Philip now has a winning record of 5-4. As for New Underwood, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-8.
Philip will be playing at home against Dupree at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in South Dakota (Dupree is ranked 124th, while Philip is ranked 100th). As for New Underwood, they will head out on the road to face off against Belle Fourche at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
