Blackfoot had lost five straight, but after bumping their record up to 4-6 on Saturday that streak is in the rearview. They walked away with a 10-6 win over the Bonneville Bees. This was a revenge game for the Broncos: when they faced off against the Bees on Friday, they had to take a 23-7 loss.

Conner Cannon made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out six over four innings pitched. He also allowed no hits, which is notable because Blackfoot is 4-2 when he allows at most two hits, but 0-4 otherwise. Cannon was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-4 with one home run.
Cannon wasn't the only one making solid contact as seven players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Griffin Ross, who went 1-for-3 with one home run, one stolen base, and two RBI. Ross is on a roll when it comes to home runs, as he's now launched at least one in each of the last three games he's played. Kaeden Fisher was another, going 3-for-4 with two runs and one stolen base.
Blackfoot lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. That's the most home runs they've posted since back in April of 2025.
As for Bonneville, the defeat snapped their winning streak at ten games and leaves them with a 11-3 record. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for they, who until this game were averaging 3.93 runs allowed.
On Bonneville's side, Gavin Webb was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-2 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base. Another player making a difference was Michael McCarty, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.
We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Blackfoot will square off against rival Skyline at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Bonneville is set to face off against their familiar foe Idaho Falls at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
