They came out on top against St. Mary's Academy by a score of 46-37. That's another feather in the cap for Manhattan HomeSchool CHIEF, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Despite the loss, St. Mary's Academy still got an impressive performance from Nick Whitehead , who scored 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Isaac Engholm, who scored four points.
Manhattan HomeSchool CHIEF's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for St. Mary's Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
Manhattan HomeSchool CHIEF will head out on the road to face off against Wichita HomeSchool at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. Wichita HomeSchool has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 362 points over their last five contests. As for St. Mary's Academy, they will play host again and welcome Veritas Christian, where tip off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
