When it comes to explaining why Marshall lost on Wednesday, one person who can't be blamed is Cedric Hill. Despite the final result, he scored 14 points. Bagdo Yetenekyan was another key contributor, scoring nine points.
Gabrielino pushed their record up to 12-10 with that win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.8 points per game. As for Marshall, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-10.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Gabrielino will take on South El Monte at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Marshall, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Rosemead at 6:30 p.m. Rosemead has now lost seven straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 20.
