The Ferndale Wildcats will head out on the road to face off against the Sonoma Academy Coyotes at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Ferndale is hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses dating back to last season.
On Saturday, Ferndale came up short against Cloverdale and fell 42-34. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Ferndale in their matchups with Cloverdale: they've now lost three in a row.
Despite the loss, Ferndale saw an underclassman step up: Prescott Langer scored 18 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Langer has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Thomas Fergison, who scored nine points.
Meanwhile, Sonoma Academy unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Friday. They took a 42-32 hit to the loss column at the hands of St. Vincent de Paul.
Ferndale's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Sonoma Academy, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 8-2.
