The St. Joseph D Defenders lost against the Faith Christian Academy Knights back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. St. Joseph D was dealt a 63-34 defeat at the hands of Faith Christian Academy. St. Joseph D has not had much luck with Faith Christian Academy recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Faith Christian Academy's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was John Schleeter, who scored 12 points along with 4 steals. Schleeter is absolutely dominating the steal category: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season. Justus Standlea was another key contributor, scoring 16 points along with 7 rebounds.
St. Joseph D's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Faith Christian Academy, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-2.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Cornerstone Family the next time they take the court. Faith Christian Academy will host Cornerstone Family at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while St. Joseph D will host them at 8:00 p.m. on December 16th.
