Climax-Scotts has enjoyed a three-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will take on the St. Philip Catholic Central Fighting Tigers at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Climax-Scotts has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
Last Tuesday, Climax-Scotts earned a 53-41 win over Quincy.
Meanwhile, St. Philip Catholic Central came up short against Mendon on Thursday and fell 57-50.
Climax-Scotts' win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-11. As for St. Philip Catholic Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-7.
Climax-Scotts skirted past St. Philip Catholic Central 45-43 when the teams last played back in March of 2023. Will Climax-Scotts repeat their success, or does St. Philip Catholic Central have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
