On Friday, Queen Creek was beaten by Paradise Honors 65-18. Queen Creek has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Paradise Honors found their leader in underclassman Star Nwabichie, who scored 25 points. Another player making a difference was Jocelyn Leal, who scored 13 points.
Queen Creek's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Paradise Honors, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Queen Creek will challenge Pusch Ridge Christian Academy at 10:20 a.m. on Saturday. Hopefully Pusch Ridge Christian Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 27 on Friday. As for Paradise Honors, they will head out on the road to face off against North Canyon at 10:20 a.m. on Saturday.
