The biggest upset of the week belonged to Kirksville, who took down 200th ranked Kirksville, 21-13. Jeff Allison threw for 54 yards and two touchdowns and ran for 66 yards in the win.
Moberly took down Mexico 31-8 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Gunner Western was the best wideout in North Central Missouri this week as the Tigers lost to Fulton. Western racked up four receptions for 68 yards. Scott Schwend helped Kirksville's passing attack out by catching one ball for 49 yards.
Schwend was the most productive running back in the league this week. In 19 carries, he ran for 121 yards as Kirksville lost to the Hornets. Makenna Cook also contributed to the rushing game with 26 yards on the ground.
Fulton's Joe Schlemeier and Randall Cole have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Schlemeier has thrown for 775 yards this season, while Cole, a 5-foot-8 receiver, has 29 catches for 467 yards. Kesley Callaway from Boonville leads the league in rushing with 817 yards.
A big matchup in North Central Missouri this week will be when the Spartans take on Marshall. As it stands, Moberly is in second, while the Owls are in third.
Pat Kelley's team made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 11,343 from 12,158. The advance stemmed from a 21-13 victory over Jeff Jacques' team last week.
