Woodland had lost five straight on the road dating back to last season, but  on Friday they dropped down to 2-5 to make it six. They took a  blow against the Winterboro Bulldogs, falling  60-14. The Bobcats lost against the Bulldogs in their previous head to head  back in October of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the  28-20 score last time.
As for Winterboro, the  win keeps them at an undefeated 7-0. The  victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 11.6 points on average this season.
 Winterboro's win  was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from   Jamari Nicks, who rushed for 91 yards and one  score. Nicks really tore up the turf  during one magnificent 86-yard run.  Carter Castleberry was another key receiver, picking up 97 receiving yards and a pair of  touchdowns.
