The biggest upset of the week belonged to Union, who took down 39th ranked Union, 26-13.
Elizabeth extended the longest winning streak in Mid-State 38 - Delaware this week by beating Linden, 42-0. The win marks seventh in a row for the the Minutemen.
Thanks to the talents of ED TRIMPERT and JOHN BANACISKI Hillsborough has been able to do all sorts of things on offense. TRIMPERT leads the league in passing with 593 yards, while BANACISKI has rushed for 956 yards this season. Hunterdon Central's Ryan Dunleavy leads the league in receiving yards with 284 on 20 catches.
BANACISKI of the the Raiders is only 44 yards short of surpassing 1,000 rushing yards for the season.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Phillipsburg takes on Elizabeth. The Stateliners are in third place, while John Quinn's team is in first place.
The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when Phillipsburg takes on the Minutemen. The Stateliners have allowed 125 points this season, while Elizabeth has given up 50.
Hillsborough moved up to 151 from 186 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Raiders climbed the ranks as a result of beating Montgomery 17-7.
